1. Overview

BatchRAW is a privacy-first application. All RAW file processing happens locally in your browser on your device. Your files never leave your computer.

2. What Data We Do NOT Collect

• RAW image files or their content
• Converted JPEGs or any image data
• EXIF metadata from your files
• Filenames or file paths (except for display in your browser)
• Camera model, lens, or shooting information

3. What Data We DO Collect

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how BatchRAW is used. This is a privacy-respecting analytics service that collects:

• Page views and URL paths
• Approximate location (country/region, no exact location)
• Device type and operating system (general, no device ID)
• Referrer and basic session information

Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and respects Do Not Track headers. Learn more at vercel.com/analytics.

4. Third-Party Services

BatchRAW loads the following from third parties:

• JSZip (CDN) — JavaScript library for ZIP file creation, served from jsdelivr.net
• ImageMagick WASM (CDN) — Image decoding library, served from esm.sh. Loaded only when needed.
• Vercel Web Analytics — Usage analytics

These CDNs may log request metadata (IP, User-Agent, timestamp) per their privacy policies. We do not control these services' data handling.

5. Local Storage

BatchRAW does not use cookies or browser storage to track you across sessions.

6. Your Image Files

When you drop a RAW file into BatchRAW:

• The file is read into your browser's memory using the File API
• Processing happens entirely on your device
• Output JPEGs are assembled in your browser and downloaded directly
• No file data is sent to any server

7. HTTPS and Data in Transit

BatchRAW is served over HTTPS. Code and libraries are fetched securely from CDNs. The only data in transit is your browser's request to fetch the application itself and analytics pings to Vercel.

8. Transparency

BatchRAW is transparent about its privacy practices. All processing happens in your browser, and you can verify our claims by inspecting the application code.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Continued use of BatchRAW after updates means you accept the new policy.
